Addleshaw Goddard, the law firm, has opened applications for its accelerator programme that gives tech companies a package of tailored legal advice to help them grow at scale.

The ten-month AG Elevate programme provides selected growth-stage businesses with legal advice, regulator mentorship meetings, and access to the firm’s global roster of seminars and networking events.

The full support package offered by the AG Elevate accelerator programme is as follows:

• An assigned legal mentor who will meet with the business every month.
• 25 hours of free legal advice on specialist areas.
• Access to AG’s legal seminars and networking events.
• Access to AG’s legal updates and other publications.
• Access to regular insight sessions hosted in collaboration with business mentors in the AG network.
• All other legal advice offered by AG will be provided at a 30% discount.

Since its launch in 2017, the annual programme has helped over 60 businesses—including a number of Scots firms, such as Amiqus and Intelligent Growth Solutions—tackle a range of legal and operational challenges.

AG Elevate’s alumni include a range of tech startups from various industries, including fintech innovators, online consumer brands, sustainability and cleantech pioneers, and proptech companies.

To qualify for AG Elevate, companies must be based within the technology sector, have plans to achieve high-growth status and have been the recipient of either seed or later funding.

The firm will accept applications for the accelerator from companies that are primarily based in either the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, or Germany.

The deadline for applications to AG Elevate is 31 July 2024.
