We were shocked and saddened to learn that Odro CEO, Ryan McCabe, tragically passed away on Saturday, June 22nd.

The outpouring of tributes to Ryan speaks volumes to his presence throughout Scotland’s tech and business communities – his infectious energy, positivity, wisdom and joie de vivre having a positive impact on a huge number of people.

From humble beginnings in a small Bellshill office with two people, Odro has grown to employ over 40, with its award-winning video interview software making the company one of the largest and most respected in the recruitment space.

Throughout his time as CEO, Ryan used his position and formidable social media presence to advocate for healthy work-life balance, mental health management, as well as offering insightful takes on leadership, recruitment and the broader Scottish tech ecosystem.

More than that though, he was a dedicated husband and father, and our thoughts are with them at this terrible time.
