Microsoft has issued an apology as thousands of UK users report issues with a range of its products, from its Office suit, email service, and Microsoft-supported games.

Thousands reported outages across Microsoft services on Downdetector this afternoon (30 July).

Just before 3pm, nearly two thousand users reported issues with Minecraft, with other services such as Outlook, Microsoft’s 365 admin centre, Intune, Entra, and Power Platform are also impacted.

Since the outage, Microsoft has released status updates showing that other services, such as OneDrive and Microsoft Team, are not impacted.

The company apologised to users on X, saying that “Our experts are currently investigating the situation in order to resolve it as soon as possible.”

Less than a fortnight following the major CrowdStrike malfunction which lead to the downfall of thousands of Windows devices, Microsoft is contending with another service outage.

Earlier on Tuesday, the company said it was investigating issues with the “network infrastructure” that was affecting its cloud platform, Microsoft Azure.
