Dimes joined the board as independent non-executive chair in August 2022 before taking on the CEO role in September 2023. Her departure comes as the company continues its strategic shift toward opportunities in the public and private cloud and cybersecurity sectors.
In a statement given to the London Stock Exchange, the board thanked Dimes for “her work in helping to reposition iomart’s business to more fully address the opportunities in the public and private cloud and security markets.”
Richard Last, currently chair of the AIM-listed firm, has taken on the role of executive chair with immediate effect. The company said he will lead the business while a search is conducted for a new chief executive.
Last will be supported by chief financial officer Scott Cunningham, non-executive director and iomart founder Angus MacSween, Atech CEO Ryan Langley – who leads the group’s public cloud and security division – and other members of the executive leadership team.
