Nvidia Marvell deal
Nvidia and Marvell Technology have announced their new partnership which plans to supercharge AI development, backed by Nvidia’s AI infrastructure.

In light of the news, Marvell’s stock value has already increased by 11% for the semiconductor company, reflecting growing demand for AI tools across the global technology market.

The partnership means Marvell will connect its products to Nvidia’s AI systems through Nvidia NVLink Fusion – a platform which helps companies build custom AI tools at scale.

Marvell will create specialised chips and networking tools to help systems handle more data, while Nvidia will provide the systems, processors and network which will enable integration.

In addition to this, they are expected to collaborate on silicon photonics technology which aims to transform telecommunications networks into AI infrastructure.

Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huan said: “The inference inflection has arrived. Token generation demand is surging, and the world is racing to build AI factories.

“Together with Marvell, we are enabling customers to leverage Nvidia’s AI infrastructure ecosystem and scale to build specialized AI compute”.

Matt Murphy, chairman and CEO of Marvell, commented: “Our expanded partnership with NVIDIA reflects the growing importance of high-speed connectivity, optical interconnect and accelerated infrastructure in scaling AI”
