The first wave of speakers has been announced for the fourth annual Scot-Secure West Summit, taking place in Glasgow on 17 September 2026.

Cybersecurity leaders from Babcock International, Microsoft, A.P. Moller–Maersk, BBC and Arnold Clark are among the first speakers confirmed for this year’s event, with conference offering a packed day exploring issues such as AI-accelerated threats, quantum readiness, digital identity and security by design.

The line-up brings together senior security practitioners, researchers and technology specialists from across industry, academia and the wider cybersecurity community.

The 2026 programme of Scot-Secure West will examine some of the most significant issues facing security leaders, including the use of AI by threat actors, preparations for quantum computing, digital identity and embedding security into systems and services from the outset.

The conference is designed to provide a forum for senior information security professionals, IT leaders, academics, researchers and law enforcement representatives to exchange knowledge and examine practical approaches to cyber resilience, threat detection and incident response.

Scot-Secure West will take place at the Hilton Glasgow on Thursday 17 September, with registration free for qualifying information security, IT and C-suite professionals.
