Sword IT Solutions, the digital transformation, information services and IT company, has acquired Venture Information Management Ltd. which provides information management to the energy industry.

Sword, which has offices in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and London works with a range of organisations across the commercial, public sector, financial and energy industries, providing IT solutions and digital transformation services.

Venture Information Management, which is headquartered in Staines, with an office in Aberdeen, works with clients across the global oil and gas sector, providing a wide range of services including business intelligence, data management, applications support and advisory services.

The acquisition will enable both companies to enhance their joint capabilities consolidate their expertise into a single organisation which can support a broad range of sectors worldwide.
