TravelNest Seed Funding

TravelNest offers a travel letting service, allowing home owners to manage and optimise their let across multiple channels.

TravelNest, a new Edinburgh-based home letting service has secured £3 million in seed funding.

The company was founded by 23 year old Doug Stephenson, who developed the service to help his parents manage a portfolio of 40 properties. In the 18 months since launch, this has grown to 2,000 properties being managed

The funding round was led by the Scotland’s Pentech group and included Frontline Ventures, Mangrove Capital Partners, which was an early backer of Skype.

The seed money will be used to increase the company’s headcount from it’s 20 current staff.
