Software specialists Sword Group have announced the finalisation of the Ping Network Solutions purchase.
Both parties said they were “delighted about the possibilities” of their formed partnership and can now further boost their combined customer bases.
Ping will provide innovation across several industry sectors, with the firm’s engineering teams offering their skills for clients of both firms, whilst Sword will provide optimisation processes and enhance customer data.
Cisco certified Ping can design, supply, implement and provide the ongoing support and management of networking solutions with global customers, covering markets including energy, financial services, education, public sector, manufacturing, and construction.
Commenting on the deal, Dave Bruce, CEO of Sword UK said “I’m delighted to welcome the Ping team into Sword. This deal will allow us to deliver a more complete range of solutions to our customers.

Terry Neill, Business Unit Director of Ping, added: “Ping has a long-standing working relationship with Sword in the UK and is very excited to be joining the Sword Group.

Consolidation of the company in the Group’s accounts will take place on March 1st, 2022.
