Glasgow-based bereavement tech firm Exizent announced it has become a member of the Law Society of Scotland and achieved Approved Supplier status.

The Law Society of Scotland – the professional body and regulator for Scottish solicitors – granted this membership and status after completing its assessment process.

Exizent’s software helps legal professionals manage the executry process, including the capture of key data, the production of court and inheritance tax forms, and creation of estate accounts.

Additionally, the technology aids legal professionals in delivering improved services to those left behind when someone dies.

The parties plan for the relationship to foster discussions and action at an industry level on legal technology adoption and on how the legal processes associated with a death can be improved to deliver better experiences for all involved.
