The Edinburgh-based ticketing platform has hit a home run in terms of new international and domestic deals.

Citizen Ticket, the Scottish ticketing and bookings platform, has announced a number of new international and UK client wins, including with a major sporting team in the US.

Recent wins range from various large-scale events, venues, and visitor attractions, including Giants Enterprise the events arm of the San Francisco Giants, a California baseball team.

The team has appointed Citizen Ticket to enhance their ticketing experience and streamline access for their clients’ events. This collaboration is set to bring the company’s technology to Oracle Park, a stadium with the capacity for 42,300 viewers.

Founded in 2013, the Edinburgh-headquartered company provides a ticketing and booking platform for events, venues and visitor attractions.

The company’s cloud-based self-service software enables its clients to generate online payments for ticket sales, manage customers, and capture important data. As well as handling customer service, Citizen Ticket also provides on-site support to clients and assists them with event advertising and marketing.

Other deals include Hammersmith and Fulham Council and Foxlake, who are utilising the company’s premium software to consolidate their ticketing operations.

The international expansion represents the next stage in Citizen Ticket’s growth strategy, to focus on enterprise-level clients both home and abroad.

“Citizen Ticket continues to innovate and solve complex ticketing problems for events, venues & visitor attractions,” Colin Palmer, chief technology officer of Citizen Ticket.

“These client wins are testament to the power of our platform and we are looking forward to our onward journey, tackling fundamental ticketing challenges for enterprise-level clients globally.”

Closer to home, Foxlake, an adventure sports company operating in East Lothian, has selected Citizen Ticket to manage ticketing and bookings, with plans to roll out across the full Wild Shore portfolio of visitor attractions later this year.

Callum Marks, CEO of Wild Shore Holdings added, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Citizen Ticket, a dynamic ticketing solution that perfectly aligns with our vision for providing seamless and efficient booking experiences for our diverse range of adventure sports activities.

“As we continue to expand our footprint across the UK and prepare to open up a number of new sites, we are confident that Citizen Ticket’s versatility will contribute significantly to our success.”
