Global people development company Insights Learning and Development has selected Gigged.AI’s Internal Talent Marketplace (ITM) software to leverage the skills of their associate consultants.

The new platform, developed by the Glasgow-based start-up, automates the process of matching skills to projects, helping Insights to streamline people operations and free up staff to focus on critical tasks.

In addition to detailing Associate Consultant skills and certifications, the platform shows availability and enables meetings to be booked into various calendar types, to quickly and efficiently accommodate client needs.

The partnership hopes to serve as an example of collaboration within the Scottish business ecosystem. Gigged.AI recently launched a first-of-its-kind free trial offer for its Internal Talent Marketplace, having completed successful pilots with organisations including The Data Lab, Scotland’s innovation centre for data science and AI.

Research from Gigged.AI found that nearly half of all IT firms are struggling in the ongoing skills shortage, making recruitment all the more important among companies aiming to find the best tech talent.
