Applications for the 2017 Cross Creative training programme, described by one participant as “An invaluable and a once in a lifetime experience…” are now open.
Created by Glasgow’s TRC Media, Cross Creative is open to ALL professionals and executives working in Scotland’s tech and creative industries.
It gives eight participants the chance to improve their skills, grow professionally and learn from some of the world’s leading companies.
Running from November 2017 to May 2018, the six month programme comprises five monthly in- house sessions, as well as an international field trip, giving participants the opportunity to gain access to some of the best digital companies in the world.
Each monthly session has a unique focus, with topics ranging from creative processes for problem solving to financing and scaling up. The programme gives delegates the unique opportunity to learn alongside industry peers, sharing business issues and solutions.
This year participants will visit Canada’s famous Toronto-Waterloo Innovation Corridor, the largest technology cluster in North America outside San Francisco.
2017 marks the ninth year of the Cross Creative programme. In that time TRC has supported 78 business professionals through the programme.
Nathan Fulwood, Co-Founder and Strategy Director of Edinburgh-based Creative Consultancy CreateFuture, who took part in the 2016 programme told DIGIT:
“Cross Creative came at exactly the right point in my career to support my own personal growth, and the ambitions of my company. The introductions to mentors and coaches, and the trip to San Francisco have been extremely useful, but it was the opportunity to network with and learn from my peers in the industry over six months that has been most valuable.”
