The entry deadline for the Scottish Financial Technology Awards 2026 has been extended by one week, giving Scotland’s financial services and fintech community additional time to submit nominations.
Entries will now remain open until 11.59pm on Thursday, 27 August, moving back from the original deadline of 20 August.
The awards recognise outstanding achievements from organisations and individuals across Scotland’s financial technology ecosystem, spanning innovation, collaboration, leadership, sustainability, social impact and the application of emerging technologies.
Entry is free, with applicants able to submit multiple nominations across the 12 categories open for entry.
This year’s categories include Fintech of the Year, Financial Services Innovation, Digital Transformation, Social Impact, Best Fintech Collaboration, Best Use of Data/AI, Financial Technology Partner, Best Start-Up / New Entrant, Outstanding Leader, Climate & Environmental Impact, RegTech Innovation and Evangelist.
All valid applications will be reviewed as part of the judging process, with finalists selected across each category before the winners are announced later this year.
The Scottish Financial Technology Awards ceremony will take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, bringing together representatives from across Scotland’s financial services and fintech sectors.
Organisations and individuals wishing to be considered now have until 11.59pm on Thursday, 27 August to complete their submissions.
