Business owners, technology leaders, developers, and those involved in new enterprise and start-ups are being encouraged to attend a free Amazon Web Services (AWS) user meet-up taking place in Dundee on Wednesday 22 February.

AWS provide various cloud computing services and APIs to companies, including networking, IOT services, storage, and middleware.

Held at DC Thomson, the evening of networking and knowledge sharing, is based around the AWS ethos of fostering friendly and open peer-to-peer communities and follows on from their inaugural event held last year.

Attendees will hear from two guest speakers, James Bungard, Solutions Architect at AWS and Barry Parkin, Cloud Engineer at Brightsolid.

Each will present and answer questions on the topical themes of Security and Compliance and the multi-purpose IAC tool, Terragrunt.

Commenting on the event, attendee and group member Darren Purvis said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for those of us involved in the field to come together, share best practice, discover new innovations, and feel inspired.
