European Super Angels Club Edinburgh Event Announced

The European Investor Network Roadshow hits the Scottish capital on April 26th.

The European Super Angels Club (ESAC), a pan-European network of high-net-worth individuals, super angels and family offices has selected Edinburgh as one of the locations for their Europe-wide investor roadshow.

Partnering with JP Morgan, the European Super Angels Club Edinburgh event will be held on Thursday April 26th at JP Morgan’s Lochside View premises, and will bring together top European investors, key Scottish financiers and carefully selected European cybersecurity startups who will pitch for funds to kickstart their next stage of growth.

Scottish investors interested in the best European cybersecurity startups are encouraged to register here to secure their place.

Based in Vienna, the city that traditionally bridges Western and Eastern Europe, ESAC connects high-quality investors across Europe in syndicated rounds of €1-10 million to fund the next round of European tech giants.

ESAC CEO, Berthold Baurek-Karlic told DIGIT: “Scotland and Edinburgh in particular is becoming an increasingly important European startup hub. It’s growing expertise in cybersecurity demonstrated by events such as Scot Secure combined with its long history in financial services makes it an ideal place for our roadshow.”

ESAC is still accepting applications for its cybersecurity round, with startups being encouraged to apply online on www.superangels.club. Other ESAC roadshow destinations for the first half of 2018 include Madrid, Zurich, Munich and Vienna.
