The Princes’s Street location is meant to be a hub for the UK-based side of the company. It is well situated to connect Kin + Carta’s Americas central office in Chicago with the rest of the world. The company will also be expanding into Bristol to develop a hub with a new team. 

Many high ranking members in Kin + Carta already call Edinburgh home including David Tuck, group CEO of Europe who said Edinburgh will be key to their long term growth. “We have a number of our leaders who call the city home,” he said, “so building out our offering here made perfect sense.”

Along with an already-established group of employees in the city, Edinburgh is now considered the data capital of Europe which will offer Kin + Carta a deep talent pool to choose from. 

“We want this new hub to be a destination for our people, for innovation and for building a world that works better for everyone. And to have that happening in my home city is personally very exciting” said Tuck. 

The decision to create a new hub in Bristol came from the strong public sector heritage. Kin + Carta says it would like to build a market-leading team for this sector. 

The construction of their new Edinburgh office was possible thanks to local businesses, and Edinburgh based fitters and tradespeople. Additionally, materials for the new office were sustainably sourced, and unused furniture and equipment from their old office in Leith was donated to schools and charities.
