Scottish scaleup Krucial, which utilises space technology to provide digital monitoring solutions for organisations with remote and dispersed assets, has announced two senior appointments to its commercial and executive team.
Graham Lenden joins Krucial’s Executive Team as Chief Commercial Officer, while Anna Dawson comes in as Head of Energy. These two additions to the commercial team will see a new era for Krucial as they ‘drive growth globally across high value industries such as aquaculture, energy, infrastructure and food security.’
Lenden has more than 30 years of experience in global executive leadership roles spanning across the automotive and technology industries, including as Head of Product Marketing at Bentley, Chief Marketing Officer of Aston Martin, UK/APAC Sales Director for Aston Martin and Chief Marketing Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
More recently Graham was global Chief Commercial & Investment Officer of Saietta Group, an electric drivetrain technology company in which he was instrumental in taking to IPO.
Lenden commented: “I am pleased to have recently joined Krucial and to welcome Anna to this talented team which is executing strongly on an ambitious business plan.
“I was attracted by the strength of the value proposition and the team, under Allan’s leadership, which is helping unlock the potential of IoT and enabling our customers to access the true value of their data. The next year will see the business continue to grow, and I am looking forward to working alongside Allan and the team to reach our exciting goals.”
Dawson spent over 10 years working across the energy, oil and gas and mining sectors with roles focused on strategy and business development at brands including Deloitte and Equinor. She then moved from energy to satellite technology, joining Terrabotix in 2018 where she held an executive role as Chief of Staff driving commercial success.
Dawson joins Krucial as Head of Energy where she will be leading on commercial expansion into the energy sector.
Dawson commented: “I am excited to move the dial in the energy sector with Krucial’s technology. As we enter a digitised era, the technology is a game changer – enhancing social and environmental responsibility while reducing reliance on manual monitoring methods. I can see Krucial making great impact in the sector to reduce risk and improve sustainability and I am ready to drive that change.”
Commenting on the appointments, Krucial co-founder and CEO Allan Cannon said: “I am excited to welcome Graham and Anna to our team. Their expertise and experience are a significant addition, bringing new skills, network and insight to our journey.
