Following record revenue in 2021, Forrit has appointed Gary Roberts as its first Chief Revenue Officer to accelerate growth across the business.

Gary joins Forrit’s senior leadership team at a crucial time, with the company seeing continued double-digit growth in 2021 and equally ambitious growth targets in place for 2022/23.

“Gary has established a strong reputation for building and leading commercial teams across the retail and technology sectors, and we’re confident he will be a superb addition to our senior leadership team,” said Peter Proud, CEO at Forrit.

He adds: “Not only will Gary drive business development across the company, but he will also be a valuable asset in helping to coach and mentor junior colleagues – a key focus for us as we look to upskill the next generation of leadership talent internally.”

With more than two decades of senior leadership experience in the tech and retail sectors, including Fujitsu, Laura Ashley and Microsoft, Gary will be responsible for leading all aspects of Forrit’s future growth.

Prior to joining Forrit, Gary was Chief Revenue Officer for EMEA and Asia at Sitecore, and Global Chief Revenue Officer for Geneva headquartered, Jahia.

Additionally, Forrit has secured a trademark for its name and logo in the US, which will support the company’s global business development initiatives.

Securing the company trademark in the US will give us opportunity to further scale the company to compete on a like-for-like basis against some of the world’s leading content management organisations.”

Forrit is also a finalist at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2022 for the ‘SME Employer of the Year – Promoting Diversity’ category, reinforcing its commitment to helping more young people enter Scotland’s dynamic tech industry.
