Edinburgh EICC Turing Fest 2018

Tickets are now on sale for ScotSoft 2018, Scotland’s longest-running digital conference.

Organised by ScotlandIS, the industry body that represents all of the country’s digital-related companies and organisations, ScotSoft 2018 will take place on the 27th of September at Edinburgh’s EICC.

Considered to be one of the leading technology conferences in Scotland, it is an annual festival that showcases the best of the Scottish technology sector. A unique thought leadership event, it offers a packed programme for visionaries, business leaders and managers.

Running for more than 20 years the event includes a full day Developer Conference, which will cover themes such as cyber, the power of analytics, blockchain and testing. It will also include The Young Software Engineer Awards, which will see awards given out to the best undergraduate software projects from students studying computer science and software engineering in Scotland.

High Calibre Speakers Drawn to Edinburgh by ScotSoft 2018

This year the event has an outstanding array of speakers including Eric McAfee, an entrepreneur capitalist and philanthropist based in Silicon Valley, and Dave McCann, VP of Amazon Web Services Marketplace. Ruth Ormsby, managing director at Accenture Technology leading on Strategy & Growth for UKI, Dave Farquhar CEO at Intelligent Growth Solutions, and MSP Kate Forbes Minister for Public Finance and Digital Economy will also be speaking at ScotSoft 2018.
