Scottish Cyber Awards
The 2022 finalists include some of the “best and most diverse” range of nominations to date.

There is now just one week to go until the 2022 Scottish Cyber Awards, held live at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh on the 24th November.

Now in its sixth year, the awards recognise and celebrate exemplary individuals and organisations making a positive impact in Scotland’s cybersecurity sector.

This year’s awards feature three new categories following the introduction of a Cyber Community Award, Outstanding Young Person in Cyber and an Internationalisation Contribution Award.

On the 27th of September, the judging panel met at the SBRC office in Linlithgow to decide the finalists, with judges comprising Clare El’Azebbi (Scottish Government), Freha Arshad (Accenture), Jude McCorry (SBRC ACC), Andy Freeburn (Police Scotland), Sarah Cunningham (Waterstons) and Graeme Curtis (Adarma).

Jude McCorry, CEO of the Scottish Business Resilience Centre said: “Marking the 6th anniversary of the Scottish Cyber Awards, we have arguably the best and most diverse range of nominations yet.

“The judges were blown away by the excellence of cyber talent across Scotland and had a tough time picking the shortlist. As ever, thank you for all your ongoing support and looking forward to seeing you all there to celebrate everything cyber in Scotland!”
