The entry deadline for the Scottish Financial Technology Awards 2026 has been extended for a final time, with submissions now remaining open until 11:59pm on Thursday 3rd September.
The extension follows requests from a number of entrants who are still awaiting internal compliance sign-off before completing their submissions.
Organisers said the additional time is intended to ensure businesses and individuals already preparing entries have the opportunity to complete the process, while giving Scotland’s wider fintech and financial services community one final chance to put themselves forward.
Entry to the awards is free and open to banks, financial institutions and fintech companies headquartered or with offices in Scotland.
The awards recognise achievement across Scotland’s financial technology ecosystem, spanning innovation, digital transformation, collaboration, data and AI, leadership, sustainability and RegTech.
Categories for 2026 include Fintech of the Year, Financial Services Innovation, Digital Transformation, Social Impact, Best Fintech Collaboration, Best Use of Data/AI, Financial Technology Partner, Best Start-Up, Outstanding Leader, Climate & Environmental Impact, RegTech Innovation and Evangelist.
The winners will be announced at the Scottish Financial Technology Awards ceremony at the EICC in Edinburgh on Wednesday 7th October.
The new deadline of 11:59pm on Thursday 3rd September will be the final extension for 2026 entries.
