The Tech for Good Summit is an annual gathering of technology experts, social entrepreneurs, the volunteer community and tech and third sector leaders who come together to explore the ways in which technology can be used for social good.

This year’s event will feature keynote presentations by Rhodri Davies, Director of Philanthropy Matters, and  Kathryn Baddeley, Head of CSR at Cisco UK & Ireland.

Providing a platform for sharing innovative ideas, practical insights and proven strategies, the summit aims to help organisations create positive social impacts through technology.

The event will include a series of panel discussions on a wide range of topics, including the benefits of skilled volunteering, open data challenges and opportunities, technology infrastructure for the third sector and equality of access and opportunity to jobs in the tech sector.

Featuring leading practitioners from various backgrounds and industries, the panel will provide attendees with a well-round perspective on the central issues regarding the third sector.

Alistair Forbes, CEO of the Scottish Tech Army set the scene for the event, saying: “The Tech for Good Summit is a key part of our mission to both expand and  increase the cohesion of the tech for good ecosystem in the UK.
