Techscaler, the Scottish Government programme run by growth platform CodeBase, has selected 10 Scottish founders for its next Silicon Valley programme, with founders from GreenFlip, Fyvie AI, Antaia, Fanbase, Metahelios, Neon Guard, EchoAI, PartnerBridge, XYNQ, and NEUROBITE set for the trip to the world’s most influential tech ecosystem.

The 5th cohort of Techscaler Silicon Valley will spend two weeks in San Francisco and Silicon Valley between 3-17th October, including attending San Francisco Tech Week. With Techcaler mentorship from experts in the US market, a session with an Entrepreneur in Residence, time with alumni from past cohorts, and a Q&A with Wilson and Sonsini’s leading expert on US expansion, Dan Glazer, founders on the cohort will spend time working on their US growth strategy ahead of departure.

• Amandeep Kalra, CEO, GreenFlip, an AI platform that models the energy upgrade potential of homes, providing lenders and investors with the data to finance upgrades at scale.
• Andrews Menzies, Co-founder of Fyvie AI, an AI lab developing a new approach to training 1-bit language models, enabling AI to run on local hardware in environments where AI is not available.
• Anj Chadha, CEO and Founder of Antaia, an intelligence platform providing AI-native compliance reporting, helping companies meet emerging climate and sustainability reporting requirements.
• Carl Barton, CTO, Fanbase, a digital platform providing sports clubs and organisations with comprehensive tools for fan engagement, ticketing, and operations.
• Charles Altuzarra, CEO and Co-founder of Metahelios, a company enhancing visual experiences through its pioneering camera chip colour filter technology, helping to simplify manufacturing supply chains.
• Chelsea Jarvie, CEO and Founder of Neon Guard, a deeptech company developing an age assurance platform that operates without photo ID or biometrics.
• Florian Vagner, Co-founder of EchoAI, a no-code platform where small businesses and creators can build their own AI agents to answer customers, and take bookings and payments across web, social and voice channels.
• Jon Mead, CEO and Founder of PartnerBridge, helping SaaS teams kickstart their partner growth by finding the right partnership opportunities, helping companies understand which partners are worth pursuing, why they fit, and how to pursue them.
• Leo Fakhrul, CEO of XYNQ, a digital notary for AI decision-making, wrapping existing tools, scoring risk, and issuing tamper-proof evidence packs that verify automated calls.
• Dr Maria Cerezo-Sanchez, CEO and Co-founder of NEUROBITE, a spinout from the University of Glasgow designing bioresorbable brain implants to temporarily record and stimulate neural activity in patients with epilepsy and post-stroke symptoms.

To ensure maximum impact, founders were selected through a structured panel review prioritising C-suite leadership, proven revenue or pilot traction, and steps already taken towards growth in the US.

Techscaler Silicon Valley is one of six international programmes in 2026, including the third Singapore cohort beginning in late October, and the first Hong Kong programme which recently opened for applications.  Already this year, internationtal programmes in the UAE, New York, and Tokyo have taken place.
