Scottish tech professionals can accelerate their careers this month as Turing Fest launches LEVEL UP 2022.

Open to anyone in the tech industry, the career event will provide opportunities for anyone looking for a new role with one of the UK’s numerous scaling tech companies – all looking to hire.

According to global recruitment consultancy Robert Walters and data analytics firm Vacancysoft, new vacancies for tech professionals rose 105% year on year in 2021, and 57.3% more compared with the previous annual high set in 2018, hitting 12,800.

Turing Fest’s core mission is to help startups and scaleups build, grow and lead better cross-functional teams. At previous Turing Fest Conferences, attendees and partners frequently discussed the importance of hiring the right people and finding the right job. As such, LEVEL UP was created to address this need.

Taking place on Saturday the 26th of March between 1-6 pm at The Biscuit Factory in Edinburgh, the free ticketed event will also provide valuable information for anyone looking at developing in the Scottish tech sector and insights to developing their careers.

Speakers such as ex-Head of AR/VR Audio at Facebook Varun Nair, Founder of Roar Training Kirsty Hulse and Senior Software Engineer at Github Mike McQuaid will be sharing advice and tips to help attendees accelerate their careers. There will also be round table discussions, opportunities for networking and numerous hiring partners.
