DIGIT Expo
From real-world AI use cases to emerging leadership insights – the DIGIT Expo 2026 agenda has something for everyone.

We’ve just released a snapshot of our agenda for two stages of DIGIT Expo 2026, Scotland’s largest technology showcase, featuring speakers from Microsoft, Multiverse, IBM, Skyscanner, Adobe, FanDuel and Wayve.

Scotland’s largest annual enterprise technology event returns to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) on November 19th, bringing together IT leaders, digital innovators and technology professionals for a full day of talks, workshops, networking and technology showcases.

The stacked agenda will focus on a range of themes permeating the collective consciousness and stimulating the entire tech sector from Scotland and beyond, from real-world use cases for advanced AI agents to maximising user value amid transformative technology and expectations.

Stage 1 will focus on the ever-changing world of AI, specifically providing pioneering uses and practical advice for maximising its value.

Kirstine Dale, chief AI officer at the Met Office will provide an inside look at how the UK’s weather service is implementing AI across its forecasting provisions, highlighting how the technology can be masterminded with live data to monitor future of our weather in a changing climate.

Expo will not fall for the AI hype, however, as Julia Shelly, director of AI transformation at Multiverse, will discuss the reality of AI adoption in the UK and beyond.

Beyond business value, the event will bring us back to the foundations of technology, with Skycanner’s McKinely Hyden, director of commercial analytics, re-centering the value of data-driven AI applications.

Stage 2 will bring in key themes around leadership, skills, future-proofing, and business value to the fore.

The business value of AI will be discussed by an esteemed panel featuring Abi Reynolds, senior research strategies at Microsoft, as well as in a feature talk with Lucy Pitticas-Rothwell, head of product operations at FreeAgent.

Arnold Clark’s Davie Gow, chief technology officer, will discuss the ever-looming skills crisis associated with emerging technologies, providing insight on future-proofing both employees and job roles.

For emerging leaders, a panel discussion featuring both public and private leaders in tech will explore the transition from practitioner to leader in the modern tech ecosystem.

Expect all that and even more speakers to be announced as well as exhibitors providing insights into their advanced products and services from IT, cybersecurity, and AI.
