European IT and consulting company Atos is the latest member of the Scottish fintech cluster, having joined FinTech Scotland as a Technology Strategic Partner, boosting the cluster’s collective innovation and long‑term growth.

FinTech Scotland said that Atos’ participation will help create the conditions for faster innovation, secure scaling and economic impact across Scotland’s fintech community, bringing global scale and a strong UK presence.

Atos’ mission is to help design the future of the information space and support the development of knowledge, education and research, including within rapidly emerging fields like agentic AI, digital sovereignty and cybersecurity, a purpose that aligns with FinTech Scotland’s objective to develop an innovative community of fintech firms.

Scotland’s fintech cluster has more than doubled in five years, going from around 120 firms in 2020 to more than 260 today, reinforcing Scotland’s position as one of Europe’s most dynamic and collaborative fintech clusters.
