There’s just 2 weeks left to enter the Scottish Financial Technology Awards 2026, with submissions closing on Thursday 20 August.

From pioneering startups and transformative technologies to standout leaders and industry-changing collaborations, the awards celebrate the people and organisations shaping the future of financial technology and services in Scotland.

Entry is free and open to banks, financial institutions and fintech companies headquartered or operating in Scotland, offering organisations of all sizes the opportunity to showcase their work and gain recognition from across the industry.

This year’s 12 categories reflect the breadth and ambition of Scotland’s financial technology ecosystem: Fintech of the Year, Financial Services Innovation, Digital Transformation, Social Impact, Best Fintech Collaboration, Best Use of Data/AI, Financial Technology Partner, Best Start-Up, Outstanding Leader, Climate & Environmental Impact, RegTech Innovation and Evangelist.

A further Special Recognition award will be selected by the judging panel, honouring an exceptional contribution to Scotland’s financial technology sector.

Whether your organisation has launched a groundbreaking product, transformed the way financial services are delivered, built an impactful partnership or helped strengthen Scotland’s reputation as a global fintech hub, there is a category designed to recognise that achievement and this is your chance to showcase that accomplishment in front of the sector’s best and brightest.

Celebrate Scotland’s Fintech Success

The Scottish Financial Technology Awards have become a major celebration of the talent, creativity and ambition driving the sector forward.

For finalists and winners, the awards provide an opportunity to raise their profile, celebrate the efforts of their teams and share their success with senior figures from across fintech, financial services and the wider technology community.

Organisations can submit entries across multiple categories, with applicants encouraged to clearly demonstrate the impact of their work and support their submissions with tangible results, statistics and evidence.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Wednesday October 7th 2026, following the 13th Annual Fintech Summit – which serves as the headline event of the Fintech Scotland Festival.
